After losing two peers to suicide at the age of 15, Kelsey founded and operated a mental health and suicide prevention organization for six years. She spearheaded the launch of an awareness campaign that included a dozen A-list public figures. She also served as executive producer of the HOPE compilation music album and signed 10 musicians to the project.
Her efforts have been recognized internationally. She was a semifinalist for Glamour Magazine's Woman of the Year Award in 2011 and attended the NYC awards in 2013.
After launching a lifestyle blog through her Instagram page in 2014, she was invited to attend New York Fashion Week as a guest of INC. She has since received invitations to runway shows including Givenchy, Sherri Hill, Osklen, Public School, Opening Ceremony, and Pamella Roland. She has also partnered with dozens of global brands to create digital content relating to body positivity, fashion, art, business, and pop culture.
She is committed to creating social change within fashion, music, entertainment, and the media. As a creative individual and mental health advocate, she is positioned to continue her mission of reminding others that hope is real, tangible, and profound.
